Guidance Office
The counselor at Denham Springs Freshman High School is always available for consultations and guidance. A student is welcome to schedule a conference with the counselor for any reason, including career counseling, college and scholarship consultation, financial aid questions, testing information and personal problems. Except in cases of imminent personal danger, the counselors maintain strict confidentiality. Parents may also contact a school counselor at 225-665-7890 or at the appropriate email address
Transcripts
Students may request an official copy of their transcript in the Guidance Office.

www.peterson.com Includes information about educational programs at all levels and provides searchable databases of colleges and academic programs. All college/university sites provide basic information and many provide extensive descriptive material, online view books, and applications.
www.finaid.org Provides links to many sources of information about student financial aid. Also includes a “Scholarship Scam Alert”.
